Cessna 182T Skylane
I think they’re the best in the business. The engine seems very smooth and quiet, but maybe that’s because I’ve spent so much time in older Skylanes, where the soundproofing was very minimal. Cessna is unlikely to pursue that design until the market turns around, however.
SVT should be ready to go and in new airplanes by the time you read this. In Western skies where runways often perch cessna mile or more above the sea, the trend is definitely toward turbos.
