Born on 29th August, in Stroud, England, he would go on to cross the Atlantic, work at bars including the Hoffman House and the Knickerbocker Hotel, then return home, post-Prohibition, complete with a highly marketable US accent, reputation and passport. Craddock claimed to have mixed the last legal cocktail before Prohibition and harr ship for Europe the very next day. Edges toned and cockrail stained; endpapers cracked at interior hinge-fold cloth backing still intact and holding well.

There is another review in here slamming the Savoy book on the font used or something like that, it isn’t very clear. No, but so what. Every page of this classic was printed bopk color originally and our reprint reproduces all the drawings in color. Dust jacket mildly edgeworn.
